At the end of its useful life, the membrane is not hazardous to the environment if disposal is handled r e s p o n s i b l y. T h e m a t e r i a l s c a n a l l b e recovered and recycled to provide r aw m a t e r i a l s fo r f u r t h e r n ew products - including membranes.
