Tulsa coach Todd Graham keeps pushing that beating a BCS league school would provide a boost for his program. Beating the Cowboys would add a bonus boost for the little brother up the road. The Golden Hurricane bring offensive talent into this clash, suggesting a shootout could be on tap. Five on the spot tonight:
JOSH COOPER, WR, COWBOYS
Coop enjoyed his best game as a Cowboy against Troy. A breakout or a blip? Coaches and quarterback Brandon Weeden are confident it’s only the beginning in what could develop an alternative threat to Justin Blackmon.

G.J. KINNE, QB, TULSA
TU boasts a strong receiving corps, with three in a deep group over 2,000 yards for their careers. It’s up to Kinne, who can be erratic, to consistently get the ball to his playmakers.
RICHETTI JONES, DE, COWBOYS
In what is looking like a breakthrough year, Jones has provided regular pressure as a speed rusher. Jones needs to use his speed and quickness to make Kinne’s life in the pocket uncomfortable.
CURNELIUS ARNICK, LB, TULSA
Arnick has matched his career high with 10 tackles in each of TU’s first two games. But his role in this assignment, slowing Cowboys running back Kendall Hunter, could be the difference in the game.
QUINN SHARP, P/K, COWBOYS

Sharp has been fantastic, getting touchbacks on 14 of his 18 kickoffs with balls consistently booted five yards deep in the end zone. He’ll be pressed for more –TU return man Damaris Johnson is dynamic.
