12-Game Winning Streak! April was a great month for the Muskies as they went on a 12-game winning streak starting April 11 with Alverno and ending April 19 with MSOE! In this streak, the Muskies swept six straight doubleheaders while posting an overall batting average of .385 and scoring 101 runs to our opponents’ total of 27 runs. The Muskies also had 91 RBIs, 25 doubles, 7 triples and 6 home runs.
One Pitch at a Time! Savannah Stenlund, freshman pitcher from Rapid River, Mich., had a monster week during this 12 game streak. She collected seven wins, with five complete games plus two wins in relief, throwing 35 2/3 innings, scattering 27 hits, giving up three earned runs and striking out 37 batters! She was named NACC Conference Pitcher of the Week, Muskie of the Week and was recognized by the NFCA for her outstanding performance!

Congratulations to Freshmen Jessica Beaudry and Hailey Jester, sophomore Sami Jo Williams, junior Ashleigh Monticello and senior Ashley Hough on being recognized at the All-Sports Banquet for their hard work in the classroom. They all have maintained a 3.25 GPA or higher while participating in softball.

Muskies Dominate All-Conference Selections!
Bella Wilkinson, freshman utility player from Evergreen Park, Ill., was named to the all-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference first team and the All-Freshman Team. She was the Muskies “go-to” player in multiple roles including: catching, outfield, DH, and pinch hitting. Bella was sixth in the NACC in conference games in triples, eighth in on-base percentage, ninth in slugging percentage and had 10 multi-hit games and a 7-game hitting streak this season. Hailey Jester, freshman second baseman from Salem, Wis., was named second team all-conference and to the All-Freshman Team. She was the top hitting freshman in the entire conference and ranks in multiple top 15 categories in conference play, including eighth in doubles, 10th in OBP, tied for 13th in hits and 15th in slugging. She also had at least two hits against 10 out of 11 conference opponents. Angela Tribuzio, freshman catcher from Huntley, Ill., was named to the All-Freshman Team. She established herself as one of the conference’s most consistent hitters. Angela ranks sixth in NACC games in home runs, eighth in doubles, eighth in hits and 11th in slugging. Over the entire season, Angela is third in home runs with 6, fifth in doubles with 11, fifth in slugging at .645 and sixth in total bases with 71. Sami Jo Williams, sophomore outfielder from Sussex, Wis., was named second team all-conference. Last year she was first team all-conference and an All-Freshman Team selection. Overall, Sami is tied for first in triples with 6, third with 52 hits, eightth in RBIs with 30 and 13th in batting average (.385) and slugging (.563). In conference, Sami ranks in multiple top 15 categories including: second in triples, sixth in at bats, eighth in runs scored, 13th in hits and 14th in total bases and had 14 multi-hit games this season.
