OPEN HIGH SCHOOL CLUB TEAMS TRYOUTS!!!! The Maple Woods Sports Training Center STC MONARCHS CLUB TEAMS are holding open individual/group tryouts for their FALL 2017 & SUMMER 2018 club teams. New tryouts will be held until all open roster spots are filled. Tryouts are open to all high school players. Tryouts will be held at Maple Woods Community College Sports Training Center indoor facility and baseball field located at 2601 NE Barry Road in Kansas City Mo. The coaches & staff will evaluate the player on the 5 tools of baseball, as well as their knowledge of the game. When possible the format will be similar to a college/pro workout to familiarize them with what to possibly expect later in their baseball careers. If the player is not offered a roster spot on one of our club team rosters, he will be provided a copy of the completed evaluation showing his scores, strengths, and suggestions on what areas of their game they need to focus on improving. We currently have teams available for all high school age groups (freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors).
