My name is Brent Weiss. I am the lead instructor/camp director for Weiss Baseball. I am originally from New York and went to St. Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, New Jersey where I was an AllState Baseball player. In 2005, I was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the MLB Draft. I decided to go to George Mason University instead to get my bachelor’s degree and continue my baseball career at the collegiate level. At GMU, I was a 4-year starter at shortstop for the Patriots. During my senior season (2009), we went to a Regional and set the school record for wins in a season (42). After graduation from GMU, I went straight into coaching. I was the Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach at Oakton High School for 4 years. In 2013, I was the Infield Coach for the Herndon Braves in the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League. I have coached for numerous youth travel teams, including the DeMarini Stars, FCA Power, nd and Metro Senators. I am currently in my 2 season as the Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach at Episcopal High School. I am also a Social Studies teacher at Oakton High School.

The camp offers overall skill development and instruction in hitting, bunting, pitching, base running, fielding, and throwing mechanics. The camp also offers development/instruction for those players who are going into their transition year from Little League fields to 90’ fields.
