We currently have openings for the following positions: Position:
Technical Support Engineer (Job Code: 1001)
Duties:
Responsible for providing technical support in compressor applications to corporate personnel, channel partners, OEMs, Packagers, end-users and other customers; identify new gas compressor lubricant application opportunities as well as potential new products development projects in the gas compressor market; assist in the development of new procedures or specialized equipment to further our understanding of tribology in certain applications, utilizing DFMA, GD&T, Autodesk Inventor and SAP-Production; provide technical support related to equipment offered for sale to customers; support gas compressor lubricant market development utilizing knowledge of compressor lubrication; work in cooperation and coordination with corporate Sales Department and distributor network; identify new gas compressor lubricant application opportunities, including rotary compressor applications and recip compressor lubrication applications; serve as the technical contact to gas compressor OEMs and packagers; provide recommendations and technical support for gas compressor lubricant product and applications, using knowledge of FMEA, product design, testing, development and quality improvement for rotary screw compressors, rotary screw compressor products and rotary compressor applications; perform cross reference on gas compressor products; make sales calls with and in support of Sales Department for technical related issues, and in support of corporate affiliates; conduct distributor and end user training in the area of gas compressor lubrication; provide support in the international marketing of gas compressor lubricants when needed; participate in selected trade shows specifically directed towards the gas compressor and gas compressor lubricant market; support and enforce all written company policies; enforce corporate ISO policies, as it relates to the area of responsibilities; and provide technical support for all lubricant applications when needed. Location: 9010 CR 2120, Tyler, Texas 75707 Salary: $85,000 per year
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Masters - Mechanical Engineering, or in a related field of study; (will accept equivalent foreign degree); Training: None Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Design Engineer/Product Sustenance Engineer, or in a related occupation; Other Requirements: Experience must include use of Autodesk Inventor and SAPProduction; experience with rotary compressor applications; experience with product design, testing and development of rotary screw compressors; experience with quality improvement of rotary screw compressor products. Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience.
