Operating Instructions for Safety Knives with automatic blade retraction. Handling and use: Type A Central mechanism

Type B Push the side slider to expose the blade ready for cutting.
Insert the blade into the material, eg cardboard.
IMPORTANT! – remove your thumb from the slider – don’t worry – the material will hold the blade in the open position.
Turn the knife through 180°.
Pull the central mechanism in the direction of the arrow. Keep hold of the blade with your thumb.
Type C
Do not hold your thumb on the blade push while cutting.
The blade will automatically and instantaneously retract into the safe position when the cutting operation is completed.
Blade change Type A: Side slider

Ease the central mechanism with the side slider away from the main body. Do not pull the end of the knife when holding the side slider.
Blade change Type B:
To keep the automatic safety function fully active, it is important to ensure that the cutter is clean and free from any material residue at all times.

Type C

Turn the blade over or replace.
Blade Change: Simply fold the “slider button” up and reverse the blade or replace it!
Re-assemble the knife as above.
Waste management of blades: G WRON
Never throw used blades into the wastepaper basket! High risk of injury!

Carefully pull the central mechanism away from the main body of the knife.
Lift the hinged blade cover and reverse, turn or replace the four cornered blade. Close the blade cover.
Re-assemble the knife as above.
MARTOR SAFEBOX No. 108000 another novel contribution to SAFETY: Designed to snap-off used blade sections and/or to SAFE - keep used blades (max. length 62 mm). To empty the contents, fold the “outer case” back by 180 degrees.
The transparent cover can now be opened and the contents be emptied, preferably, into the MARTOR USED BLADE CONTAINER No. 9810 - WALL MOUNT BRACKET optional.
