Operations Manager, Professional Services, Lausanne Your role
Manage and increase the efficiency of the professional service practice, including definition of standard processes and enforcement of guidelines/policies as needed Monitor and control resources assignments Support the change of scheduling, the escalation, the re-prioritization Produce the Scheduling reporting in order to support resource management activities Support the Customer Success Officers and Directors in setting up the right contractors tactic for staffing request fulfillment Understand customer base composition, customer needs, prioritize the scheduling activities, manage the communication with the customers Maximize the chargeability of a team of consultants Manage the administrative part of the consulting work: check PO, check the service delivery report, calculate the chargeability and produce the pre-billing data Support the consulting management Maintain relationships with customers and manage expectations on resource availability and on actual scheduling Implement internal processes to support timely and informed planning and decisionmaking Monitor and manage cyclical business processes to support operational efficiency and effectiveness, including annual planning and budgeting cycles Identify, plan, and execute improvement initiatives to support shared operational functions across the business
Your profile and experience
3 or more years’ experience as a scheduler in a technology consulting company. Demonstrated ability to co-ordinate teams, to manage a complex portfolio of projects. Demonstrated ability to manage the service line budget. Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and monitor scheduling processes. Resources planning and forecasting abilities. Demonstrated ability to collect customer feedbacks, handle them and give feedbacks to the management.
Understanding of scheduling management techniques. Exceptional organizational and analytical skills. Outstanding communication and teamwork skills, social awareness. Proven ability to drive complex projects with minimal oversight, delivering results incrementally and pragmatically. Enthusiasm for working in an international, collaborative and fast-paced environment and learning new technologies. Fluent English, spoken and written; knowledge of French/German/Russian/Spanish/Italian is a plus.
