Adult Education Single Session Opportunities Boundaries Training A course to raise awareness of the physical boundaries for those working with children, youth and adults with exceptionalities. This class is required of any person in a leadership/volunteer/teaching position. A multi-state background check will be conducted before persons are able to volunteer. Groups Meeting Weekly Adult Bible Study This group meets weekly during the Sunday education hour to discuss a variety of contemporary topics. The Bible in 30 Seconds Feel inept in the area of Bible study?
This class is for you! Participants will read a very short description of a key Bible passage and then read the Bible text. Expect about 5 minutes of reading followed up with about 5 minutes of discussion questions, followed by fellowship and fun! Times were set with parents of Sunday School children in mind, but the class is open to all. Groups Meeting Monthly Circles for Women Women’s circles generally meet once per month to engage in fellowship, education, and mission. There are currently three circles, each warm and welcoming of new members. Please contact the group leader for up to date information on their group. Lunch Bunch “Lunch Bunch” is a group of retired persons who gather for lunch and fellowship once per month. All meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month. Leaders: John and Sue Drach, [email protected]
Men’s Breakfast Men gather once per month to engage in fellowship and mutual support. Meetings are generally the 2nd Saturday of the month at 8:15 AM at Vista Drive Inn. This group does not meet in July or August. Leaders: Larry Erickson, [email protected]; Darrell Denton, [email protected]
Men At First In Action This service-oriented group tackles projects large and small around the church and grounds. The men meet for breakfast at the church before beginning work. Work days are the 4th Saturday of the month at 9 a.m. Leader: John Wear, [email protected]
