Optical Illusions

Optical Illusions Description Explore optical illusions and tricks with these fun crafts and activities.
Materials Strips of paper (approximately 3 – 4 cm wide) Paper circles (approximately 10 – 15 cm in diameter) String cut into approximately 15 – 20 cm lengths, OR long bamboo barbecue skewers Pencils, crayons, magic markers and/or other drawing tools Glue sticks Scotch tape Scissors Hole punch
Preparation Precut paper strips, paper circles and pieces of string. Set up tables and chairs for participants to use in completing crafts. Choose some optical illusion books to share with program participants. You may want to flag particular images to show them. Create a display of books for participants to browse.
