Treasurer’s Report o 2015 Proposed budget o Request was made to separate Cheer/Football finances in the budget. o Any questions can be referred to Celina Leger and Amy Smith.

Secretary’s Report o Registrations to Date- 18 Total (8 Tiny Mite Football, 5 Mitey Mite Football, 5 Jr. Pee Wee Football) o Pick “Family 4-Pack to Patriot Hall of Fame” Winner- Max Kinzer (Tiny Mite Football Team)

Football Director’s Report o USA Football Codes  All football coaches must register and hand in a copy of their certification for team books.  Code and Direction will be emailed to coaches. o Player Safety Coach-Mel Soule will attend training on July 11th o Central MA will be adopting the SCOREMASTER system this year, all NE schedules, scores, and standings will be available at all times. o Weigh-in-August 29th-time and location are yet to be determined o Jamboree will be on August 30th

Cheer Director’s Report o Update on Cheer Competition  Monty Tech Approved request, will be held in the new gym on Saturday Oct. 3rd.  Waiting on fees to be confirmed.  Need to make decisions on what is needed as far as building usage. (Café, Classroom, Tables/Chairs, Matts, outlets, sound system etc.) o Update on appointing Cheer Coaches  Coaches have not yet been assigned to their squads, waiting on registration numbers.  Lynn and Kim would like to return this season and have been informed of the YCADA coaches’ course and the Hands on Clinic which are mandatory, as well as the YCADA Competitive Edge course that is highly recommended.  Would like a few more volunteers. o Idea of setting goals in order to attend Nationals was introduced and will be discussed at a later date. (Fees for Nationals is $500 per squad)

Spirit Hangers  Cheerleader will create their own, samples will be available.  All Squad members will make one, free of charge, our gift for registering.

o

Equipment Manager’s Report o Helmets  Purchased and Received (6) Riddell Attack I Youth Helmets  More sheets of decals need to be ordered. (We have 41 helmets that need decals, we have 26 sets of decals in storage.)  21 helmets are out for reconditioning, picked up by Scott Nickerson (Riddell) o Shoulder Pads  GAC Voted to purchase 24 pairs and get 4 pairs free from Riddell.  Discussed giving players the option to purchase their own pads, more information will follow. o Uniforms  Pricing 60 from Riddell with Scott Nickerson  Slash Jersey/Pocket Pants for Jr. Pee Wee and Mitey Mite, Integrated pants for Tiny Mite.  All uniforms need the Pop Warner patch. o Looking into popular items to offer at group pricing for the best deals. Maybe extend to Central Mass. o Fundraising-Would like to plan something to focus funds going toward equipment and safety, coaches will hold a meeting and provide input/wish list.

Golf Tournament Details- Friday, June 5th @ the Westminster Country Club o Start Time: 9:00am Shotgun Start o Set Up: Any time after 7:00am. WCC will provide Tables. o OPW to supply prizes for the following:  Longest Drive (1st Hole) – WCC tracks  Closest to the Pin (10th Hole) – WCC tracks  First Place Foursome (suggested: Cash or Free entry into next year’s tournament) o Sports Memorabilia – Ok to have. o Beer Cart  Free for 80 golfers or more  $50-75 for less than 80 golfers o Cost to OPW  Golf $54.00 (Includes Green fees, Cart, Scorecards, Cart Signs, golf balls, Tees, Bottle of Water  Dinner $26.03 (Includes tax and gratuity) o OPW to Charge  $100 Per Golfer (Includes Door Prize Entry)  $35.00 Dinner Only (Includes Raffle Tickets #?) o Green/Tee/19th Hole Sponsor Signs  To be put out by OPW – (In the rough) o Alcohol is allowed as raffle items

Send Flyer/Donation Letter to WCC and they will distribute to their mailing list. GOLFERS  80 or more  Closed Course just for OPW  WCC donates Free Round of Golf for 4  Less than 80  Open Course  5-7 Days prior to event – Send names to WCC  Once we hit 20 Foursomes, Call WCC to close course Check for total amount (golf and food) due on the day of the Tournament 50/50 Ideas  Standard Cash 50/50  Table at 10th hole… If hit on the green, get double the arms-length tickets  Putting Contest Menu:  Roast Pork Loin with Gravy, Chicken Piccata with Rice, Baked Stuffed Haddock, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Vegetable of the Day, Tossed Garden Salad, assorted Rolls and Butter, Cookies & Brownies  Provide estimated numbers 6-10 days prior to event

o Flyer and Donation Letter to be mailed, emailed and posted on website and Facebook. Thirty-One Fundraiser o Darlene Hayden will hold an event in August, OPW will receive 15% of sales from either catalog sales or a Party. More information to come. OPW Summer Conditioning o MVP Offseason Workouts For Youth Football o Open conditioning dates and times to be determined. Youth Football Camps o Assumption One Day Football Camp o BC Youth Day  Forward to current registrants and former players 2015 Central MA All Star Classic o OPW placed a $100 Ad for Matt Garofano. Open Forum  Scholastic Director Darlene is currently working on converting Pop Warner’s grading scale to fit AWRSD’s report card format. Adjournment
