SUBJECT: 2017 OCJAAF SCHOLARSHIPS FOR FORMER PLAYERS & CHEERLEADERS Orange County Junior All American Football, Inc. (the OCJAAF) is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2017 OCJAAF SCHOLARSHIP AWARD PROGRAM for former players and cheerleaders. OCJAAF consists of 15 chapters/cities that are located in Orange, Los Angeles and Riverside counties. One (1) deserving high school senior from each youth football chapter will be awarded a $1,000.00 scholarship. To qualify for consideration of a merit-based scholarship, applicants must apply through an existing/active OCJAAF chapter and had to be a participant a minimum of two (2) full seasons as a player or cheerleader in OCJAAF. If they participated in more than one (1) chapter they must apply through the chapter in which they participated in the most. Applicants will be judged on the following criteria: Grade Point Average ACT or SAT I Scores Essay School and Community Activities/Leadership Recommendation Letters which attest to the applicant’s leadership role and/or services in school or community. In order to assure eligibility and consideration by the OCJAF Scholarship Committee, please remind the applicants to read the application thoroughly. The application must be received by MAY-012017.
