Potassium Sulfate - Midwestern BioAg carries Great Salt Lake's (GSL) sulfate of potash (SOP), which is OMRI listed. It is used by itself as a potash fertilizer and as an ingredient in many MBA formulated blends of organic fertilizers. SOP has the added benefit of containing 18% sulfate.
Potassium Magnesium Sulfate - Midwestern BioAg carries Intrepid's OMRI listed potassium magnesium sulfate, which is called Trio™. Each granule of Trio™ contains potassium, sulfur and magnesium in the same ratio ensuring that all 3 minerals are available to the plant when it needs it. Trio™ dissolves slowly which allows for a season long release of nutrients.
Pelletized Rock Phosphate - Midwestern BioAg uses a granulated hard rock phosphate in our fertilizer blends as an excellent way to build soil phosphorus levels and to provide available phosphorus to feed plants all season long. By including sulfate sulfur with the rock phosphate in our fertilizer blends, we create a lower pH fertilizer zone, allowing the phosphate rock to become available more quickly. Our granulated rock phosphate comes from Idaho and is OMRI listed for use in organic agriculture.

Pelletized Gypsum - Pelletized gypsum provides two essential plant nutrients: calcium and sulfur. Midwestern BioAg uses pelletized gypsum in fertilizer blends because it is in a form that breaks down easily in the soil, providing plant available nutrients. Cal-Sul™ and SuperCal SO4® are two common trade names for pelletized gypsum, both are OMRI listed.
Pelletized Lime - At Midwestern BioAg, we feel that if your pH is a limiting factor and you need to adjust it, then you should apply lime.
13-0-0 Feather Meal - Nature Safe 13-0-0 is designed to expand the organic fertility options of organic farmers and is OMRI listed. This product can be blended with other fertilizer ingredients or used as a standalone fertility product in areas where phosphorus and potassium are not needed. Nature Safe 13-0-0 provides tremendous food energy to stimulate soil microbial populations and allow for efficient nutrient uptake by the plant.
Chicken Manure Crumbles - Midwestern BioAg uses only OMRI listed chicken manure crumbles. Poultry manure has long been recognized as a rich, natural source of nutrients and organic matter. It can deliver nutrients to crops in a controlled release formulation that improves soil aeration and water infiltration and prevents leaching, run-off and soil erosion. It is also an excellent source of carbon for your soil microbes to feed on.
HumaCal® - Midwestern BioAg's HumaCal®, which is OMRI listed, is a homogenous blend of humates, calcium and sulfur. HumaCal® is unique in that it is a low pH calcium product. Farmers are often reluctant to apply calcium to high pH soils out of fear that it will raise the pH further. However, just because the soil has a high pH, it doesn't mean your crop is getting enough available calcium. HumaCal® is an effective way to apply plant-available calcium while not raising your soil pH.
MicroHume® - A unique granular blend of nutrients essential for plant growth. It is a natural source of calcium, sulfur, humates & micronutrients in the sulfate form. Multinutrient, homogenized, fertilizer grade granules provide a very effective delivery system with uniform distribution. OMRI Listed.
L-CBF TerraFed - TerraFed is a source of quality plant nutrients in a base of cane molasses, which is an excellent carbon source. The high sugar levels of cane molasses stimulate soil biology to help with early spring soil warm-up and nutrient availability for seedlings. All of the ingredients in TerraFed are allowed for use in organic production.
