Strategies to Prepare for & Effective Leadership during Organizational Change (What to do before)  Be willing to self-assess as a unit and as leaders. Don’t concede everything, but be willing to see things in new ways.  Know what you do well and where you can improve.  Leverage the new talent.  Staying ahead of the change. Office of Continuing Ed … Online & Continuing Ed was preemptive.  Laying the foundation through relationship-building  Listening and learning tour of Deans  Nimbleness/Flexibility/Service-First. We don’t say no, we have a conversation.  Vitality of staff/programs – o Staff Communication  All Staff meetings, Monthly Email Updates from leadership, Transparency above all else  Have some fun
