MVC All-Sports Championships Winners of back-to-back-to-back All-Sports Championships, WSU has claimed the trophy nine times in the last 12 years. In 2014-15, Shocker teams finished first or second place in nine of the 15 varsity sports that WSU sponsors with six championships (men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s golf, women’s outdoor track & field, and women’s tennis). Since 1993, when the MVC and Gateway men’s and women’s conferences merged, WSU has won six or more titles in four different school years. MVC All-Sports Championships Winners of back-to-back-to-back All-Sports Championships, WSU has claimed the trophy nine times in the last 12 years. In 2014-15, Shocker teams finished first or second place in nine of the 15 varsity sports that WSU sponsors with six championships (men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s golf, women’s outdoor track & field, and women’s tennis). Since 1993, when the MVC and Gateway men’s and women’s conferences merged, WSU has won six or more titles in four different school years.
