Who Can Join?

Do you like to have fun while keeping fit? Then swimming club is for you…. Swimmers of all ages and abilities can enjoy the family fun at Swimming Club. We have activities for everyone from Learn to Swim to Masters swimmers. So whether you want to swim for fun and fitness or want to enjoy swimming at its most competitive you will find something to suit you at the Biloela Amateur Swimming Club.
Club Club Nights… Biloela
Swimming Club Meets at the Biloela Aquatic Centre every Wednesday night.
5.30pm Gates Open. Sign on for swims. 5.40pm Mahi Mahi program. Our ‘learn to swim’ group competes in short races of 12.5m (half the 25m pool). Each stroke is offered. At the end, the children may swim a 25m swim of any stroke of their choice. 6.00pm Club Program Starts. Weekly information and awards session followed by the swimming program for the evening. 8.00pm approx (usually earlier). Finish Each night swims are offered in every stroke in the 25m pool and 50m pool. All swimmers compete against their own best time. These times are posted on the board each club night for you to record.
Join us any Wednesday night from 5:30pm for a free try….. A healthy meal deal is available every Club night…..
Membership Fees
Membership Fees For 2014/2015 season:
Competitors (swimmers who compete at club level and at carnivals with other clubs). Some of our swimmers just like to swim on Club nights and monitor their improvement each week. Or if you are up for more you can compete in the various weekend carnivals that are offered throughout the season all over
Queensland, including home carnivals. These are fabulous fun days and the team atmosphere just can’t be beat. Swimming club also organizes a range of other activities throughout the season such as free swim clinics.
Try Club as our guest for up to 3 nights – then if you like it join on the 4th night.

ALL SWIMMERS 7&U ARE FREE!!! Family membership includes free membership for parents. Membership covers affiliation with Swimming Australia and Swimming Queensland and all Insurances. Each Family receives a comprehensive Club handbook on joining.
Coaching…
Most of our swimmers take advantage of the coaching and Learn to Swim classes at the Biloela Aquatic Centre offered by the pool Manager Tony Gilligan (Gilligans Ireland Swimming Academy). Tony is a member of our Club and works closely with the club to ensure that we provide the best possible support to our swimmers.
