Our Current Announcements & Upcoming Events: “Connecting People to Jesus and Others”
April 30 Family Worship Sunday A week where almost all ministries take a break so everyone can worship together. We will have a Nursery/Preschool Playroom available at 9:15 & 10:30 & our Extraordinary Class at 10:30 April 30 Co-ed Softball Meeting 12pm in Patio Room If you are interested or want to learn more about the church softball team please consider coming to the meeting. Questions? Contact Scott or Missy Reinart 608.378.3102 April 30– May 3 Garage Sale Drop Off Apr 30– 12-5pm May 1– 8-3 & 5-8 May 2– 8-3 & 5-8 May 3– 8-3 & 5-8 Bring your gently used items to the Activity Center Donate: We CANNOT accept: tires, TVs, paint, mattresses, car seats, cribs computers & monitors or hygiene items. Serve: Volunteers & helpers are welcome during the drop off times. Any hours done by youth can be put towards their trips. Contact LeighAnne 608.387.4052 or Pastor Paul 608.333.9048
May 4-6 Youth Garage & Brat Sale 8-3 Thursday; Friday 8-12 Saturday here at Bible EFC Serve: If you are interested in helping at the garage sale or brat sale please contact LeighAnne or Pastor Paul. Any youth can count hours towards upcoming trips. Shop: Come shop or have lunch! Thursday & Friday 8-3 & Saturday 8-12. All proceeds go towards the youth’s mission trip this summer. May 7
Neighborhood Service Projects 12-3pm We will provide lunch in the Dining Room and then we are off to show God’s love! Our neighborhoods are going to help clean up our church (inside & out) and help the Tomah Parks & Rec Dept get ready for summer. Outlying 1,2,3 & Warrens 5,6 and Tomah 13 will all be staying at Bible EFC. There will be building projects, outdoor cleaning & indoor cleaning. Wyeville 6, Tomah 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 will head to Recreation Park (The Fair Grounds) and help Parks & Rec get that area ready for all the upcoming summer events. If you aren’t sure what neighborhood you are in, please look for the number on your nametag or check the map in the foyer. Contact the office with questions.
May 14 Baby Dedication Services Please let the office know if you are interested in Dedicating your baby or young child to the Lord. There will be a time during each service for parents to come forward. Please contact Nikki in the office by Monday, May 8th. We will are offering another Baby Dedication in June if you are unable or if we fill up for Mother’s Day. May 14 Mother’s Day Roses Fresh Roses will be for sale on Mother’s Day in the church office for a suggested donation of $2. The roses are provided by the Monroe County Right to Life . The proceeds will go to assist area pregnancy counseling centers in our area. Sporting Clays Shoot 9am-3pm N4335 Potter Rd Warrens, WI 54666. We are partnering up with the Boys & Girls Club for a day of fun and it is a great way to support the Club. $30 per person (pre-registered) $35 at the door. Event includes:
May 20 Birthday Bash 1-3pm at Winnebago Park Children & volunteers with a birthday in March, April or May are invited to come have some birthday fun! We will have a craft, an activity and of course a birthday treat! See you there!! Interested in coming? Contact Krishna Battista 608.343.3282 May 21 Annual Congregational Mtg 12pm in the Activity Center Join us for a potluck as we gather to vote on the proposed 2017/18 proposed budget and this year’s nominations. Potluck: Children’s Ministry is providing the hot dogs & hamburgers. The Deaconesses request your help with the meal items based on the following: A-S: Side Dish T-Z: Dessert

May 21 Annual Mtg Continued… Church Members are free to make nominations under the procedures stated in our Constitution. (Article IX, section 5): 5. Elections: The Elders will provide a list of nominations for all elected offices that need to be filled four (4) weeks prior to the date of the meeting in which the election is to take place. Written nominations signed by at least two (2) members may be presented for any office that needs to be filled. Such written nominations must be presented to an Elder two (2) weeks prior to the date of the meeting in which the election is to take place. No nominations will be taken from the floor. We do ask that you preregister by May 28th. Childcare is provided. Registration forms available at the Connection Point or the main page of our website.
Vacation Bible School July 16-20 5:30-8pm Do you have a child ages 3 up thru going into 5th grade? They are invited to come learn how to be strong and courageous for God! Registration is now open at the Connection Point or on the main page of our website! Donate: Our donation list will be put out the beginning of June.
Volunteer: It takes a lot of volunteers the week of and all of weeks leading up to all the fun! Watch the foyer for the VBS table as it gets closer! Interesting in helping or do you have questions about VBS? Contact Nikki Renaud 608.387.3084 (call or text). Families of graduating seniors: We’d love to recognize our seniors on Sunday, May 28. Please stop in the office and grab a questionnaire for your senior to fill out. Return the filled out questionnaire and any photos you’d like to have in the slideshow (including senior pics of course!) to the office no later than May 19.
