GUEST SPEAKERS INCLUDE Keynote - Barb Stegemann: Bestselling author & CEO of The 7 Virtues, Barb Stegemann was the first woman from Atlantic Canada to land a venture capital deal on the CBC hit show “Dragons’ Den”. She went on to become the Top Game Changer in the history of the show. Her fragrance collection is made with essential oils that help rebuild nations including Haiti, Afghanistan and The Middle East. She will share her philosophy of business as a call to serve and how following The 7 Virtues is key to living joyfully & successfully. Barb was ranked Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada WX and is the first female Honorary Colonel for 14 Wing Greenwood.
Carlos Sotolongo: Carlos is a completely self-taught software developer and IT Professional. He graduated High School in Havana, Cuba and has been involved in IT professionally for over 19 years. Currently, Carlos holds an MCTS and an MCPD in SharePoint Application Development. Employed with ABM Integrated Solutions, he has a proven track record of consistency and dedication to his profession.
donalee Moulton: Principal of Quantum Communications, donalee is known for her ability to assist companies with writing, editing media relations, communication planning and so much more. Having worked in the public sector and for all levels of government, various universities, non-profit organizations and being experienced in leading communications conferences and workshops, we can be assured of a professional, dynamic and informative presentation. Honored in 2008 with the Women of Excellence Award by the Canadian Progress Club, donalee is also a professional journalist with articles published in more than 100 magazines and newspapers in Canada and the US.

Lunch Menu Michael Kydd: Michael lives by the motto “Carpe Diem” in everything he does. At 38, Michael became the youngest president of the Merit Contractors Association of Nova Scotia after previously working as a communications consultant in the telecommunication and pharmaceutical industries. Michael served as an advisor and communications director with the former government and Progressive Conservative caucus. Michael also works part-time in the Business Administration Department at Mount Saint Vincent University, teaching communication management and advertising theory and practice.
