Pathways Resumes September 11th
Coffee with a Touch of Theology
Following the 8:00 AM service today, join our preacher under the tent on the front lawn to discuss the sermon, the news of the week, and how God is at work in the world. Grab a coffee and then add a touch of theology and a sprinkle of sunshine under the tent. All are welcome! Kick-off Sunday for the new Program Year is September 11th.

Special Guest Speaker: The Rev. Dr. Garry Dorrien, Columbia University The Social Gospel in Black and White: Then and Now.
Gary Dorrien is the Reinhold Niebuhr Professor of Social Ethics at Union Theological Seminary and Professor of Religion at Columbia University. An Episcopal priest and lifelong athlete, he is the author of 16 books and approximately 275 ar cles that range across the fields of ethics, social theory, theology, philosophy, poli cs, and history. Philosopher Cornel West describes him as “the preeminent social ethicist in North America today” and philosopher Robert Neville describes him as “the most rigorous theological historian of our me.”

Save the Date – Run with the Saints
Want to do the "Run with Saints 5K" on November 6th at Saint Luke's? Worried you are not in shape or want to get in be er shape for the race?
Join Danny and Michael for a 9‐week 5K training program star ng Thursday, September 8th at 6:30 PM. All are welcome. There will be a 'Learn to Run' program for first‐ mers, as well as an intermediate training program for more seasoned runners.

Run with the Saints is a 5K run/walk to be held on All Saints Day, Sunday, November 6, following the 10:00 AM Service. All proceeds will benefit our Cuba outreach to help fund Bishop Griselda’s vision for Camp Blankingship, a youth camp and retreat center to be built on Diocesan‐owned land.
