The Watt Stopper, industry leader in occupancy sensors and lighting controls, now brings you a complete line of outdoor motion sensors, designed with the highest standards of quality and performance.
Operation The Watt Stopper outdoor sensors utilize passive infrared (PIR) technology and operate by detecting the difference between infrared energy in motion and the background space. They turn lighting on when a person or vehicle enters the coverage area. After the area is vacated and the user-set time delay elapses, lighting automatically turns off. The outdoor sensors operate at line voltage and install quickly and easily to a standard outdoor junction box. They are designed for use in all weather conditions and are rated for temperatures of -40° to 130°F. This enables the sensors to mount anywhere – under an eave or on a wall without overhead covering. Exposure to the elements is not a problem.

The EN series motion sensors offer a low-profile, aesthetic design with a narrow, 90° coverage. This makes the sensors a perfect fit over a doorway of a home or building. Because of the EN’s attractive appearance and distinct coverage, it can also be used in some indoor applications where line voltage occupancy sensors are desired.

The EW series are wideangle motion sensors suitable for many applications from walkways to driveways to parking garages. The sensors feature a unique design which allows users to tilt the sensor up or down to get the motion detection desired. A choice of a 270° or 180° coverage pattern gives you the right sensor for each location.

The EWF series provide a pre-assembled EW sensor with lamp holders all in one package. Rated for wet locations, the durable, polycarbonate lamp holders are UV and impact resistant and are impervious to weathering. Their unique silicon seals allow them to be aimed above horizontal in damp and wet areas.
