C.A.R.E. Teams
Christians Assisting Redeemer Everyday This is Redeemer’s own helping hands ministry, an opportunity for our congregation to provide assistance to our own church family. We have CARE teams of volunteers from Redeemer who provide meals for the sick, injured, family loss, and welcoming new babies. We also have CARE Teams who are willing to provide transportation to church or medical appointments. If you need help, or if you are willing to provide meals or transportation, contact the church office.
Yellow monthly outreach envelopes, located in the pews may be used throughout the month to make charitable donations to the designated monthly outreach.
South Platte Emergency Assistance Center
On the first Sunday of each month, Church of the Redeemer members are encouraged to bring non-perishable food, toiletries and paper products to the church to be donated to SPEAC food pantry. Green bags are available to take home, fill and return to church. Volunteers are needed to transport this food to the pantry.
Salvation Army Food Boxes Each year Redeemer members are offered the chance to “adopt a box” for the Salvation Army to give to needy families for the holidays. Members are asked to pick up a box that contains a list of needed food items, fill it and return it to the church. Volunteers are also needed to deliver the filled boxes to the center.
