remember in my early years as a Christian thinking faith is simply believing that God, who you cannot see with your natural eyes, exists! James 2:19 - “You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe-and tremble!” It is not saying much when a person says they have faith in God and their faith boils down to just believing that God is real! James is saying, the demons are smart enough to believe that and they fear God! Real faith is beyond our natural intellect to reason or believe. Real faith supersedes experiential faith, believing because of what you have personally experienced. Real faith is supernatural!

omans 12:3 - “For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one the measure of faith.” A person operating in real faith understands that it is not according to their ability to believe based on intellect. Rather, it is God’s faith in them, given to them and activated and strengthened by His Word. Eph. 2:8 says that “we have been saved by grace through faith and that faith is the gift of God.” I have always used the illustration of faith being like a muscle, I have the same muscle in my arm as everyone else yet there are a lot of people who have stronger muscles than I do as well as those with weaker ones! The point is that there is potential to increase the effectiveness of your muscles if you’re willing to eat right and exercise that muscle. The same holds true to the God faith in us, if we eat right (spiritual food) and exercise our faith (be doers of the word and not hearers only) we can accomplish great things, supernatural things.

o, what is Overflowing Faith? My definition of overflowing faith is when a person gets beyond “believing God” for themselves and begins to use their faith to change the world around them. There was a time in my life when all I could do was “believe God” or have faith to believe for myself. It was a daily struggle to have faith for my provision, faith for my health or healing, faith for my family’s needs. It is not that I do not use my faith for those things any longer but I have reached a place in my life that my faith is not limited to me any longer! Now I can have faith to reach others, help others and do things that without God would be impossible for me to do. Overflowing Faith is faith that reaches beyond yourself, beyond your four walls and has an effect on the world around you. I encourage you today that you have overflowing faith in you, it’s there! The more we allow God’s Word to influence our lives, the more our faith will grow, and the more we use what we have, the more impact it will have. God is faithful, His word is the truth and you can count it to work in your life.

30 year Celebration!
Last month I mentioned that May marked our 30th year of ministry since my Ordination. We have been thinking and praying about how we would like to celebrate this occasion. Our desire is to celebrate with as many of our friends and partners as possible! Saturday September 13th (which is the day before we begin our 9th Veteran’s Reunion Outreach) we will gather for a celebration here in Indiana. All the details have not yet been finalized and we have some very exciting news yet to announce! Please mark this date on your calendar and we will send out details soon. Also, plan to stay a few days and get involved with TGM Veterans Outreach, I promise you will not regret this awesome opportunity to be a blessing to the men and women who have, and are, serving our country.
TGM JUNE OUTREACH! At the beginning of June TGM set up one of our tents at the Howard County Vietnam Veterans grounds here in Indiana where the veterans have their “Firebase Mini Reunion.” A number of our friends come to help over the five day outreach, we so appreciate each one that came to serve. Also, this month we will be reaching out with the Good News in a rural farming community in Ohio June 2426. Please keep TGM lifted up in prayer as we are continually reaching out to the lost, and equipping the saints!
