Getting Started • Read Psalm 24:1 • God owns everything. I am responsible for what He has entrusted to me. Connect • What was your first car? How did you treat it? Grow 1. Read Psalm 24:1. What does this verse mean? 2. If God owns everything in the world and all who live in it, then what do we own? Do you live as an owner or a manager? What is the difference? 3. If God owns everything, then what are we responsible for? 4. What does it mean to be responsible? What does this (or should this) look like in your life (time, talent, and money)? 5. Read Deuteronomy 8:17 – 18. What truth can we glean from these verses? 6. How are you responsible with the money you don’t give to the church? Do you honor God with all of your money? Time? Talents? 7. How can living generously with all of our resources bring freedom? 8. What changes do you need to make in order to live out what you’ve discussed today? What type of help might you need? 9. Discuss anything else that might have stood out to you from the sermon.?
