The Land of OZ is a real place.
It only exists in Dorothy’s dream.
Dorothy encounters three magical women who help her along the way. They are the unnamed Good Witch of the North, Glinda, the Good Witch of the South and the Queen of the Field Mice.
Dorothy only receives help from Glinda the Good Witch of the North.
Dorothy’s forehead was kissed by the Good Witch of the North, which protected her.
Dorothy’s forehead was not kissed by any witch to protect her.
The Wicked Witch of the West is a minor character who appears in only Chapter XII, out of XXIV Chapters.
The Wicked Witch of the West is the main villain and is out to get Dorothy and her little dog throughout her time in OZ.
Dorothy wears silver shoes that she got after her house killed the Wicked Witch of the East. She puts them on herself.
Dorothy shoes are ruby slippers. Glinda magically removes them from the dead Wicked Witch of the East, onto Dorothy’s feet.
Before entering Emerald City, Dorothy, the Tin Woodman, Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion, and Toto had to be fitted with green spectacles, which the Guardian of the Gates, locked around their heads with a key.
No one wears green spectacles.
Dorothy is very strong and rescues her friends from many situations.
Dorothy is portrayed as a damsel in distress.
OZ meets Dorothy and her friends separately, and appears different to each one.
OZ meets Dorothy and her friends together. He appears as a Big Floating Head only.
The Winged Monkeys are controlled by whoever has the Golden Cap. A spell was put on them by Princess Gayelette,for dropping her Prince in the lake on their wedding day.
The Winged Monkeys are the minions of the Wicked Witch of the West. There is no Golden Cap in the movie, and no Princess Gayelette.
