Leadership  and  Volunteer  Opportunities  are  available:   There  are  great  ways  to  ease  into  a  leadership  position  in  the   Pack.    Consider  it  a  resume  building  opportunity.      See  your   Den  Leader,  a  Committee  Chair  or  the  Cubmaster  to  share   your  special  talent.    We  require  every  parent  to  get  involved   in  a  committee,  be  a  leader  or  be  an  assistant  leader.

Scouting  for  Food:    Contact  your  Den  Leader  to  help  with  the   Scout  Food  Drive.    On  November  14th,  we  will  hang  flyers  on   doors  and  mailboxes  in  only  the  Foxmoor  and  Linwood   Farms  Subdivisions  for  people  to  leave  food  on  their  porches.     We  will  pick  up  the  food  on  November  17th  before  noon  from   the  houses  we  handed  out  the  flyers.    Then,  we  will  take  the   food  to  the  Mooresville  Soup  Kitchen.    The  goal  is  that  no  one   in  Iredell  County  is  hungry  on  Thanksgiving  Day.

Catawba  Science  Center  Camp-‐‑In:  Join  Catawba  Science   Center  and  Piedmont  Council  of  Boy  Scouts  of  America  for  a   night  to  remember.  Camp-‐‑in  classes  feature  activities  from  the   Cub  Scout  Handbook,  allowing  campers  to  earn  Arrow  Points   and  Activity  Points.    Wolves,  Bears  and  Webelos  see  your  Den   Leader  for  your  Dens’  date.

Service  Project  Opportunities:  I  am  always  looking  for   Service  Project  opportunities  for  our  Scouts  to  take  part  in   helping  the  community.    Please  contact  me  if  you  know  of  a   good  opportunity  for  our  sons.     Please  visit  www.bsapack316.com  for  an  up-‐‑to-‐‑date  calendar

Friendly  Reminder   During  Monday  Den  meetings  we  are  to  keep  the   classrooms  better  than  we  found  it.    Leave  No  Trace   applies  to  classrooms  too.    If  you  see  a  Scout  or  Tag-‐‑a-‐‑ long  making  a  mess  please  have  them  clean  up.
