The Conference Centre at the University of Waterloo can help you with your accommodation needs during Varsity Team Tryouts - 2014 Special Rates! The University of Waterloo Varsity Team Tryout attendees’ room rate is $38.50/night or $231.00/week for a Single Room plus 13% HST. This rate includes free overnight parking, free WiFi, daily housekeeping of the common areas along with weekly linen and towel exchange.
How to make a reservation Reservations can be made by registering online at https://uwaterloo.ca/conference-centre or by calling our Reservation Department directly at 1-800-565-5410. Guests must provide a Visa, MasterCard or AMEX to guarantee their reservation and quote the conference name to ensure the quoted conference room rate. A deposit is taken at the time of booking and is applied to the balance of the guest’s account. The deposit is fully refundable if the reservation is cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival. It is very important to note that the Conference Centre will close on August 29th and all guests must vacate their rooms prior to 9am. First year students that have a reservation with housing to live in residence for the fall term will be able to transition from the Conference Centre room to the dorm room on August 29 th
On Campus Accommodation The Conference Centre accommodations include single and double rooms. Each floor consists of 24 rooms with 2 large communal washrooms per floor (1 male and 1 female) along with a tv floor lounge. Guests are welcome to use the lounge and games area which are located in Ron Eydt Village. Meeting rooms and common spaces are air-conditioned but guest rooms are not. Fans are available for sign out at the front desk. Each room comes with a pillow, blanket, linens, towels, soap and plastic cup. Irons and ironing boards are available in a common area on each floor. Guests have access to shared laundry facilities for the rate of $1.00/wash and $1.00/dry. Guests also have access to the inhouse fitness center at no extra charge; access cards are available at the front desk.
On Campus Meals Meals can be purchased through cash only sales at various food service locations on campus. For hours and locations check the UW Food Services Website. In addition to on campus food service locations, breakfast tickets will be for sale at the Conference Centre front desk for the Village 1 cafeteria (located 5 minute walk from the Conference Centre).

Free parking is available to guests staying overnight at the Conference Centre in Lots “S”, “V” and “J”. Day guests are also welcome to park in these lots for a nominal fee of $5.00/day
