paddock barn
for those seeking a bucolic lifestyle...
style & space... In the most wonderful of settings, this beautifully executed barn conversion was carried out by one of the County’s most talented exponents of the craft and what has been created is very special indeed. Living quarters of circa 3,000 sq ft have been imbued with a timeless minimal aesthetic which allows for both contemporary or traditional furnishing. At the heart of Paddock Barn is an impressive “social” kitchen space flanked by areas in which to relax and entertain.
relax & entertain... Total peace is a rare thing to find in today’s hectic modern world, but Paddock Barn allows for the essential modernity we need in the 21st Century, whilst connecting the stylish interior space seamlessly with the rural exterior. A separate large quiet sitting room, and a dedicated study / office are found in addition to the open entertaining core of the barn. Whilst sleeping quarters are found principally on the first floor of the building, there is a Guest / Master Suite located to the rear of the barn and bedrooms are complimented by beautifully appointed contemporary bathrooms.
private grounds... Paddock Barn is beautifully located on the periphery of the West Oxfordshire village of Northmoor and nestles in private grounds of 1.52 acres. The barn overlooks a small picturesque watercourse which has been skilfully incorporated by the current owners in to the landscaping of the formal gardens around the building. There is a potage / kitchen garden, a garden terrace looking across the property’s paddock land and a dedicated gravelled area for the owners vehicles, which could be the site for a sensitively designed “Cart shed “ style garage block, subject to the relevant consent.
