1. Plan is an International child centered community development organization without religious, political or governmental affiliation. Plan strives to achieve lasting improvements by supporting communities to develop the skills and structure they need to provide a safe and healthy environment in which children are able to realize their full potential. Children's best interests are at the heart of everything we do. Plan Tanzania supports health, education, water and sanitation and livelihood programs in Mwanza, lfakara, Geita, Kisarawe, Kibaha, llala, Dodoma and Rukwa through a right based approach, in which children, families and leaders are active participants working together to address the causes and consequences of poverty. In addition, Plan is currently supporting Burundi refugees in Kigoma region through child protection, education and youth empowerment programs. 2.
