Turn your brilliant ideas into reality!

How do I apply?

The Questacon Smart Moves Invention Convention is part of the Questacon Smart Moves program. Smart Moves travels to secondary schools throughout regional Australia delivering inspiring, up-to-the minute presentations that highlight the potential of innovation in everyone.

All you need in order to apply is an original idea for an invention, innovation or business venture. You don’t need to have made a prototype but we do want to see that you have put thought into your idea.

The Questacon Smart Moves Invention Convention is a great opportunity for innovative young Australians to meet other like-minded people from around the country with an all-expenses paid trip to Canberra where they will learn how to turn their ideas into a reality.

What is the Invention Convention? The Invention Convention is an intensive week-long program that provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to develop their idea further.
