Page Designer Activity OBJECTIVES STEP 1 | L E A R N Students will learn about the features of Yearbook Avenue® (YBA) Page Designer through the Page Designer Activity. Note: This lesson is intended for schools using YBA Page Designer to create yearbook pages.
STEP 2 | P R A C T I C E Students will familiarize themselves with YBA Page Designer, which will be utilized throughout the creation of the publication, by completing the Page Designer activity. Note: The activity will take longer than seven minutes. Adviser may use activity as an assignment.
STEP 3 | U S E Students will be using the YBA Page Designer frequently in order to create their publication.
21ST CENTURY SKILLS Employment in the 21st century requires the ability to learn and use technology appropriately and effectively. YearTech® Online is the technology students use to create the yearbook and interactions on this platform are similar to other design platforms.
COMMON CORE STATE STANDARDS ELA-Literacy.SL.9-12.5, CCRA.SL.5 Make strategic use of digital media to enhance understanding.
