Camp Information Ages: 5-12 Location: Palmer Park Hours: 9:00 – 2:00 Cost: $125.00 (Pre-Registered) Walk ups or late registration will be $135.00 *Send check and form by June 17th
Staff All campers will receive instruction from members of the University of AlabamaHuntsville baseball staff as well as current student-athletes. We feel that working with people directly associated with UAH helps the camper understand the principles and techniques taught to UAH baseball players. Head Coach: Hunter Royer - 3rd season as Head Coach - Assistant Coach at UAH (2007-2010) 2009 ABCA Assistant Coach of the Year -Produced 16 All Gulf South Conference Players and 1 All American -2009 and 2010 Gulf South Conference Tournament Appearances -Assistant Coach at West Alabama (2004-2006) -2005 Gulf South Conference Champions -Produced 19 All Gulf South Conference Players Assistant Coach: Evan Bush - 3rd Year as Assistant at UAH - Assistant Coach at Bevill State Community College (2008-2010) -2010 ABCA Junior College Assistant Coach of the Year - Grad Asst. at The University of Alabama (2007) - Drafted/Played San Francisco Giants Organization (2006) - Played for The University of Alabama (20032006) Assistant Coach: Steve Connelly - 3rd year as Assistant at UAH - Played 9 years in the A’s and Giants organization and Major League - Drafted by the Oakland A’s - Played for The University of Oklahoma (National Champs - 1994)
Campers Receive Campers receive professional instruction from the UAH staff and players. Instruction will be given on pitching, fielding, hitting, bunting, and base running. Campers will also receive a camp shirt. What To Bring
Each camper must bring their own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, batting gloves, helmet, cleats, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they wish to bring. Catchers must bring their own gear for catching instruction. Please mark the camper’s name on each piece of equipment, UAH is not responsible for lost equipment. Also each camper is responsible for bringing their own lunch.
