Pamela S. (Streff) Meyers

born December 4, 1948 Le Mars, Iowa passed away September 24, 2015 Orange City, Iowa age 67 years, 9 months, 20 days prayer service Saturday; October 10, 2013; 10:30 a.m. St. Mary's Catholic Church Alton, Iowa

Pamela Sue was the daughter of Arnold Mathew and Patricia Louise (Mann) Streff. She was raised in Alton, where she graduated from the Spalding Catholic School. She then earned her teaching degree at the University of Iowa. On July 20, 1974, she married William Christopher “Bill” Meyers III in Davenport. They made their home in Davenport, Lewisberry, Pennsylvania, and finally Alton. Mrs. Meyers was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards, especially cribbage and bridge, and belonged to several bridge clubs. Survivors include her husband of over 41 years; a daughter, Sara, and her husband, Jeff Schutz; a son, Christopher Meyers; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Ryan Schutz; her father, “Arnie” Streff; a sister and her husband, Barbara and Paul Grachek; and a brother and his wife, Steven and Debra Streff. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by a brother, Scott Streff.

Following the committal service, relatives and friends are invited to join the family in the Spalding Catholic School for lunch and fellowship.
