VOLUNTEERS Volunteers are needed for these upcoming events: - PUMPKIN PATCH (Oct. 31, grades K-5) - MIDDLE SCHOOL DANCE (Nov. 9, grades 6-8) - ICE CREAM SALE (Nov. 10) - SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR (Nov. 13 - 17)
PUMPKIN PATCH / PARADE OCTOBER 31, 2017; 12:00 – 1:55PM Elementary students (grades K – 5) may wear costumes to school on Tuesday, October 31st. No accessories or masks please. Parents are welcome to watch as children parade their costumes in the 74th street school yard and select a small pumpkin from our patch! 12:00 – 12:15 pm Kindergarten 1:00 – 1:15 pm Third grade 12:20 – 12:35 pm First grade 1:20 – 1:35 pm Fourth grade 12:40 – 12:55 pm Second grade 1:40 – 1:55 pm Fifth grade

NOVEMBER 9, 2017; 2:30 – 4:30PM Grades 6 – 8 are welcome to the Middle School Dance Party on Thursday, November 9th after school from 2:30 to 4:30 pm. Pizza will be served and there will be a DJ. Parents, please note you must complete the permission form in order for your child to attend.
ICE CREAM SALES NOVEMBER 10, 2017; EACH LUNCH PERIOD The PTA will be selling individually wrapped ice cream and frozen fruit bars during school lunch periods on Friday, November 10th. All bars cost $1. See the “PTA” section of psis119.org to view options.
SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR NOVEMBER 13 – 17, 2017 Students can shop for books in the 4th floor gym during our book fair on their scheduled day (see upcoming flyer for details). Parents, family, and friends can also shop with students: Tuesday, Nov. 14th 5 - 8 pm (during PTA meeting) Thursday, Nov. 16th 1 - 7 pm (during Parent Teacher Conferences)
