Parade Registration

Line-up will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Olive St and Elm St. All entries must have a holiday theme and holiday lighting. The parade route is down Forest Street and ends at the Middle School.
Notes:
If use of horse teams, two out-riders will be required for each entry.
Licensed vehicle will be allowed in the parade only, and must be registered to participate in the parade. All vehicles MUST be driven by a LICENSED DRIVER.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED! (Hand out candy, do not throw)
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT NEITHER THE PARADE COMMITTEE, NOR THE TOWN OF MILLIKEN WILL BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE PARTICIPATING IN ANY OF THE EVENTS TO BE HELD. Any questions please call (970) 587-6070.

Greetings, It’s that time again to start making plans for the 8th ANNUAL FESTIVAL of LIGHTS. This year we will share in the fun on Friday, December 2nd. As in the past, this will be a time that our community will share in several events throughout the evening. There will be a Parade, Kids Games, Hay Rides, Chili Supper, and other fun activities. This is your invitation to share in the opportunity of providing these events for our citizens.
The parade will start at Olive Avenue in front of the Presbyterian Church at 6:00 pm. Line up will begin at 4:30 pm. All entries must have a holiday theme & lighting. The parade route will proceed down Forest Street and conclude at Milliken Middle School. (Please see the registration form for important, additional information.)
The rest of the festivities will take place at Milliken Middle School from 4:30pm with the chili supper and conclude around 8:30 pm.
Please return Festival of Lights Parade registration form to Thompson Rivers Parks and Recreation District at 110 S. Centennial Dr. St. B Milliken, CO 80543, by December 1st to ensure a spot. For those of you who have participated in the past you know what an enjoyable experience this will be for you, your staff and your community. For those of you who will be joining us for the first time, be prepared to have an evening of fun and significant impact that your participation will provide. Don’t forget about Thompson Rivers Parks and Recreations annual Breakfast with Santa. It will be held at the Town of Milliken on Saturday December 10 th from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
