C C. Philosop phy: O Our objectives are to: Field competiitive teams to t play again nst similarly--skilled team ms from otheer communitties Provide high quality coacching that heelps our playyers develop their skills aand encourage the en njoyment off fast pitch Make M the fastt pitch experrience fun an nd rewardingg for each off our playerss P Primary emp phasis is placced on indiviidual skills development d t, team play,, sportsmansship, and enjoying tthe game. Reecognizing th hat individuaals have diffferent skills and needs, a positive ennvironment w will be ccreated to en ncourage con ntribution, acccomplishmeent, confidennce, and a feeeling of selff-worth in alll pplayers. Each h player willl know they are an important part off the team annd that their pparticipationn is vvalued. A Although winning is not the primary y focus, moree emphasis i s placed on competing aand striving tto win. A As our progrram has grow wn, the qualiity of play an nd ability to compete at higher levells has also inncreased; tthis is an imp portant elem ment of contin nually impro oving on the experience we offer eacch player. However, w winning at th he expense of o developing g each playeer’s skills wiill not be alloowed. Playiing Time Equaal playing tim me is not guaaranteed; how wever, it is oour intent thaat over the ccourse of thee season each participant will w get a faiir and ample amount of pplaying timee. Each headd coach is ressponsible for en nsuring this happens. Th he head coach also has thhe authority to limit playying time due to unexccused absencces or for oth her disciplin nary reasons . In leaague games, every effortt will be mad de for each pplayer to plaay every gam me unless: 1. Discipllinary action n is being tak ken or the plaayer has beeen suspendedd 2. The plaayer has chro onic unexcussed absencess 3. The plaayer is injureed or sick 4. Games have been shortened s du ue to the timee limit or incclement weaather In tou urnaments, each e player will w receive fair f and ampple playing ttime unless aan item from m the abovee list is in efffect. Comm mitment: We reealize there may be indiv vidual and family fa confliicts during thhe Travelingg season. Where confllicts arise,– due d to the teaam commitm ment – shoulld be given ffair priority, especially oover otherr sports comm mitments. Th his would ap pply to practtices, scrimm mages, leaguue games andd tourn naments. Pleaase let your coach know w in advance of any potenntial conflictts so they caan plan accorrdingly.
