Dear Parents, We are pleased to announce that Manalapan Soccer Club will be hosting its 31st annual Memorial Day Tournament on May 26-28th 2017. As you know, this tournament is by far the biggest fundraiser for the club. The success of the Memorial Day Tournament cannot be obtained without your help. Planning for the tournament is well under way. MSC needs your help in the following two ways: • First, each team is required to place ads in the journal and/or solicit business sponsorships. All ads will be on our club website for a full year with hyperlinks to the company's own web site; they will be organized by business type and teams to make searching easy. All players, coaches and their families will visit our site and all the ads, not just for the long weekend but throughout the year. Each team requirement will remain the same as years passed, full sided teams (U13 and above) are to purchase the minimum of $1000 in ads/sponsorships and small sided teams (U8-U12) $750 in ads/sponsorships. They can be in the form of personal ads, wishing your child and his or her team luck or in business ad/sponsorship from your business, the company you work for or a business that you frequent. You can also go to local businesses and get ads from them (Please remember any ad with a business name on it will be charged business prices.) If you can do both that is even better. The more everyone brings in the more our players gain. We again have field and site sponsorships available. Also for every $1000 over the minimum required by a team a percentage will go back to your team. ALL ads and sponsorships must be registered online at www.manalapansoccerclub.com. Ads will all be in color. (Dimensions are 1000px {width} by 670px {height}) You must pay for your ad/donation via credit card when registering online. If other form of payment is needed, please contact Kelly Dulovitz. After registration of ad/sponsorship is complete, please fill out attached appropriate form and return to your coach or team parent to keep track of money brought in towards your team requirement. • Second, it is required that each family volunteers a minimum of two hours of time per child in the travel program for the tournament. Volunteer requirements will be fulfilled on tournament weekend. Our volunteer coordinator, Sue Picklo will be collecting all $100.00 bond checks for each player from your coach. Please give

your coach your $100.00 bond check (payable to the Manalapan Soccer Club), per child by March 15th. As the tournament gets closer, she will be in contact with your team rep to schedule everyone’s time. This is an integral part in what makes our tournament a success. Once the weekend has come to an end and your volunteer time has been completed, your $100.00 bond check will be handed back to your coach.
