Revised 5/16/2017
Students are required to take one year of fine arts during the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade year. Fine Arts courses include Art, Band, Choir, and Theater Arts. Students who choose “1 semester” courses need to select two “1 semester” courses in order to complete the school year. We will make every effort to ensure that the student receives both of the choices indicated; however it is sometimes necessary to alter choices due to the master schedule. Every effort will be made to give students the electives they choose. However, in order to maintain balance in student/teacher ratio, it is sometimes necessary to alter elective choices. Students need to indicate Alternate Elective on the Choice Sheet.
