Changes..… April 2018 Spring Is Here!! It’s finally here!! I know it doesn’t seem like it, but yes it is springtime in beautiful Seattle. As such we are making some changes to the Activities Department, up to and including our Newletter format. All that we ask is that you bear with us in this time of transformation. The most important change will be the arrival of a new activity employee. Although we are not sure who will be joining our awesome team, let’s look forward to having a new face added to our Park Place Family and remember to give that new person a resounding welcome!
Changes to the schedule April 2018 As most of you will note when you take a glance at April’s calendar, we have added a few new activities and we’ve also removed one or two old ones. New additions include- Dart Games, hopefully we can get enough participants to have teams and we can begin to have tournaments soon. We have added more Paint and Sip Sessions. We recently stocked up on painting supplies and we’d love to have you all join us for an afternoon of painting and sipping. There is wine provided and for those of a non alcohol nature, we can also provide alternatives. Another new addition is the Ice Cream Social on alternating Friday’s. Come down to the deli and mingle with your neighbors every other Friday. It’s always nice to be nice
Easter Sunday Sunday, April 1st, 2018 Ryan has quite the menu planned for your Easter Dinner; it includes his tasty Roasted lamb. As usual you can always invite a family member or two. Just don’t forget to have them stop by the front desk to purchase a dinner ticket! We’ll have already had a wonderful time hunting Easter eggs at our Annual Easter Egg Hunt!! I hope you all got a wonderful surprise!!
Crossroads Mall Tuesday, April 17th, 2018 Join us for a trip to the always interesting Crossroads Mall. From Joann’s Fabrics to Cost Plus World Market and everything in between, Crossroads Mall has something for everyone, including an extremely diverse food court. So if you’re looking for something fun to do hop on board and boogie down to the mall with us!
Emerald Downs-Quarter Chute Café` Monday, April 23rd, 2018 For those of us that have been here for awhile, you know what a special treat this is. I, myself have not had the chance to experience yet, but I hear a visit to the Quarter Chute is well worth the money. Enjoy wonderful fare as you get to observe the workings of the racetrack! Since the season starts on Sunday, April 22nd there should be plenty of hustle and bustle and maybe even some beautiful horse flesh to admire. I hope you will join us for a breakfast visit to the Quarter Chute!
