Construction Contract awarded by CC 30OCT18 Notice of Intent and SWPPP prepared and submitted DIR Project registered Project is underway , ahead of schedule and tentatively under budget, but unforeseen conditions have been encountered (unmapped piping, rail segments, tree roots, etc.) and grading and trenching are not yet completed.

MLK Tennis Court Project • Bids opened April 18, 2018 • Low bid was significantly higher than Engineer’s Estimate and the bids were allowed to expire • Staff is revising the bid form to make the base project more affordable and has issued Notice Inviting Bids for opening January 4, 2019

MLK Pickleball Project • Staff expects to be able to deliver the pickleball improvements to the existing basketball courts with negotiated contracts for fencing and resurfacing. Estimated time of completion: Spring 2019

Dunphy Park • Notice of Exemption from the application of CEQA submitted in June, 2017 • Initial Joint Aquatic Resource Agency Permit Application (JARPA) submitted in August, 2017 • Contract for construction of base project awarded by CC on 26JUN18 • Contractor applied for and received payment of insurance and bond costs • CalRecycle Grant Agreement executed in July, 2018 • Identification of Cultural Resources completed and Agreement for Treatment of Cultural Resources and Tribal Monitoring successfully executed in September, 2018 • Draft Subsurface Investigation Report regarding former Burn Dump received and minor comments issued in September, 2018

Dunphy Park • DIR Project registration June, 2018 • Notice of Intent and SWPPP prepared and certified November 7, 2018 • San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) indicates 401 Water Quality Certification is imminent and imposed mitigation fee of $37,200 for increased fill. Mitigation fee will be used by State Coastal Conservancy Terminal Four Wharf Removal Project Near Point San Pablo, Contra Costa County, California • San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission (BCDC) indicates that its permit will follow RWQCB imminently – Expected 26NOV18 • US Army Corps of Engineers Section 106 and 404 permits will follow and Staff intends to issue Notice to Proceed with work outside Corps’ jurisdiction as soon as the BCDC permit is received

Southview Park • Project involves repairs to retaining walls, accessibility improvements, storm water and drainage repairs and upgrades, hardscape and landscape improvements • Design Review Permit approved September 20, 2017 (DR 17-150) • Authorization to issue Notice Inviting Bids CC 17JUL18 • Pre-bid conference held October 28, 2018 • Bid opening currently scheduled for November 29, 2018
