So Much To Look Forward To... Family Outdoor Movie Night - Ed Wilhelm Field (behind Piney Branch Elementary School) Saturday, June 4, 2016 at dusk Bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a movie under the stars with your family! The movie will be a family friendly “G” or “PG” rated hit. Bring snacks - the Recreation Dept. will provide one small bag of popcorn per person and water. Due to limited parking - walking is encouraged! Bring a flashlight to use after the movie. After Hours- Takoma Park Recreation Center 7315 New Hampshire Ave July 5 - August 18, 2016 9pm - 11pm This new program will provide a drop-in service for the teens and young adults ages 16 - 24. The Recreation Department is partnering with the Takoma Park Police Department to offer futsal Thursday and basketball Tuesday one night per week each over the course of the summer. This program will be from 9:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. July 5 - August 18, 2016. We are looking to provide safe but fun activities for the young adults in our community as well as build the relationship between the community and the Takoma Park Police Department.

Also try Giant Chess, Dominoes or Chinese Checkers, Pull of Peace (Tug of War) or the new mechanical bull. You can also stop by and choose a craft to create and take home such as Ancient Culture Posters or Fiesta Maracas. And don’t forget to try your hand at sidewalk chalk. Accessible
