SENIOR PASTOR CANDIDATE:

NOE GARCIA

– Romans 15:5-6

THE

PASTOR SEARCH COMMITTEE Ron Estes, Chairman Ed Black, Vice-Chairman Tina Barksdale Clark Burau Amber Lambert Cindy Snead Tom Tamura Jimmy Wood

Nine months ago, the members of North Phoenix Baptist Church nominated and charged the Pastor Search Committee with the task of seeking God’s will to find the man God ordained to lead our church. We committed from the start to trust the Lord in His direction and wait for His timing. As a committee, we remained focused in prayer and trusted God by claiming Romans 15:5-6* as our verse for this journey. The Pastor Search Committee unanimously recommends Noe Garcia to serve as the next Senior Pastor for North Phoenix Baptist Church. Noe is married to Clancey and they have three children; Baylen James, age 5, Mamie Caroline, age 2, and Hallie Cate, 3 months.

Noe Garcia began his spiritual journey at age 18 and surrendered fully to God’s will for his life. He has a heart for preaching the gospel and reaching a multicultural and multigenerational congregation. During Noe’s ministry, he has served as a minister at Second Baptist Church in Houston, TX, Valley Baptist Church in San Rafael, CA, First Baptist in Nashville, TN, and is currently the Collegiate Pastor at Cross Church in Fayetteville, AR. Under the leadership of Dr. Ronnie Floyd, pastor and current president of the Southern Baptist Convention, and the Holy Spirit, Noe has been blessed to grow the collegiate ministry of Cross Church to a nationally recognized program. In the past two and a half years, this ministry saw over 400 salvations and over 300 baptisms.

His passion to live the Great Commission through Evangelism is the cornerstone of his ministry and portrayed in his love for Isaiah 61. Noe Garcia holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology and a minor in Religion from East Texas Baptist University, Masters of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently attending Southern Baptist Theological Seminary pursuing his Doctor of Ministry and Executive Leadership degree. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the North American Mission Board. Noe is a dynamic preacher who is passionate about proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ, serving God, shepherding the church and being led by the Holy Spirit to carry out the vision God has placed in his heart.
