Step 2 Talk through your own ideas with the Installers. They will tell you what is feasible and should contribute their own ideas and recommendations. Through this discussion you will judge whether they are someone you can work with.

Step 3 Get more than one quotation and in writing; make sure they quote like for like. The cheapest isn’t always the best. Choose the contractor who you feel will deliver what you need. Ask to see examples of their work, even talk to their former customers.
