BERNINA BLOCK PARTY 2017 Join us for a fun time as we sew through this BERNINA Block of the Month! Bear’s Paw and the We all Sew BERNINA Blog is where you will find all the information to make this quilt designed by Nina McVeigh of BERNINA! Make the entire quilt or make a bunch of mini projects from each of the blocks or series of blocks featured. The first block will post the first Monday in April. The mini project will post two weeks after that on the third of each month. This process will go for all 12 blocks. We have kits for the Alison Glass version pictured and also one in batik. You can start at any time!
********** BLOCK PARTY FOLLOW-UP - Marty Marty is hosting follow-up sessions on the second Saturday of the month, . For April, we are meeting on the 4th Saturday, April 22 – 10 to 12. Thereafter, it will be the 2nd Saturday of the month - 10 to 12. This is a wonderful quilt for beginners, as well as, experienced. You will learn so much and Marty will give you tips on any construction issues. MACHINE APPLIQUE BASICS - Diane Doran Learn the basics of fusible machine applique! The focus will be on simple shapes that, when combined, can create a wide variety of designs, as well as covering fusible, stabilizer, stitch type, needle, and thread choices. First we'll practice the "ins and outs" of various curves, lines, and corners, then get started on a cute block that can be used as a small wall hanging. Sunday, June 4 - 1 to 4

********** SNAPPY SLIPPERS & TRAVEL BAG - Linda This is a quilt-as-you-go project with some crazy quilting involved. A 40 piece - 5" charm pack is strongly suggested which will be enough for both slippers and the travel case. There is a certain amount of homework involved between the first and second session. Make sure you have all, fleece and Soft & Stable cut and ready to sew before coming to the first class. These slippers come in sizes 5 - 11 and are extremely comfortable.
