*Your personalized torso block on hard paper (If you aren’t concerned about constructing a jacket that fits you and would like to take the class simply to learn the techniques involved, a standard industry torso block will be provided by the instructor.)˝ Hard manila paper (tag board), 2 yards˝ *Pattern drafting pencil (refillable mechanical pencil)˝ *Eraser˝ *Ball point pens, red and blue˝ Dotted pattern paper, 5 yards˝ Paper scissors ˝ *Scotch tape with dispenser (not the shiny tape, the kind you can write on)˝ *Stapler, staples, and staple remover˝ 60” tape measure˝ Needle-point tracing wheel˝ Pins (dressmaker)˝ Pattern Hook to carry completed patterns˝ Rulers:˝ • Grid ruler (18” x 2”) Clear plastic with grid lines – C-Thru˝ • French curve˝ • Skirt vary curve (“Hip Curve”) -- Suggested: Fairgate 12-124˝ • L-Square 12” x 24”˝ Awl˝ *Note-taking materials˝ Muslin, if test garment is desired˝ Chosen fabric and interfacing as needed (to be determined when patterns are completed)˝ Sewing supplies and machine for garment construction (not needed until later sessions)˝ Textbook: Instructor will provide copied pages with applicable instructions from various textbook sources.˝
