Peaks in the Cordillera Blanca. O ur expedition consisted of H ansjörg Jesacher, H einrich Renzl, A lbrecht Thausing, F ranz G ruber, H elm ut H üttinger and me. We traversed the entire U rus ridge and continued on tow ards T ocllaraju but did not get to the top of the latter because of bad weather. F rom A uquiskocha on July 27 while the others climbed C hekiacraju by its south side, I climbed its west ridge and continued over the intervening peak and on to T ulparaju.
