“Letter of the Week” (MWF classes) - Letter Day will be on Monday each week.

Please encourage your child to bring one item from home on letter day to share with the class. Example: P is for penguin. Please do not bring sharing items on other days, as too many toys create a distraction and sometimes get lost. Thank you for your cooperation! December 4 December 11 December 18

Children’s Day at Festival of Trees – On Wednesday, November 29, several local preschools will have art and craft activities set up for children to enjoy. You are welcome to bring your children and come and have fun. Admission is free. This event is Children’s Day for Festival of Trees and will be held from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. at the Vacaville Skating Center, 551 Davis Street. Occupations /Traditions/Customs - Would you like to share your occupation with your child’s class? The children love to learn about other parents’ jobs and careers. Perhaps you have a family holiday tradition you would like to share with the class . . . or maybe a holiday custom from another culture? If you would like to bring a story, art project or any other information regarding Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or other holiday traditions, please speak to one of the PEP School teachers to arrange a date.

“Sing Along at Home” – A sheet of holiday songs we will be singing at school will be available on the website. It’s lots of fun to sing along at home and help your child learn the words for their Christmas programs. December is a very busy month with decorating the classroom, preparing for our Christmas programs and making gifts for those we love, and most of all, remembering the true meaning of Christmas.

PEP Christmas Programs - You, your family and friends are invited to join us for our Christmas programs in the Sanctuary. Cookies and juice will be served immediately following our programs in the Social Hall. If you would like to share cookies for our programs, please sign up on the Cookie Sign-up Sheet on the hall bulletin board.
