Other than listing your dreams, this is probably the next best activity we have for you in this course. In this exercise, you're going to design your perfect day. We chose the word design because when you design something you’re developing a solution to a problem. In this case, the problem you need to correct is the aimlessness of your day. It’s doing things not because of purpose but rather that’s how things fell into place. It’s living your life on autopilot. Not anymore. Now you’re waking up each day with your focus squarely on your goals. While you’re designing your perfect day, we don’t want you thinking about the future after you’ve accomplished your goals and your determining what island you want to buy. We want you to plan your perfect day as if you were starting to live this ideal life today. This is a now exercise. You can’t stop working or magically have a new job. You can’t change your family situation. You can’t have future knowledge, today. Life simply doesn’t work that way. What you can do is schedule your time better and that’s what we’re going to teach you to do. We’ve provided an example day for you below.
