On Wednesday, September 24, 2014, Cargill Fort Morgan employees were recognized for a prestigious accomplishment. 55 employees achieved perfect safety and attendance during the time period of June 1, 2013 to May 31, 2014. Employees were recognized with a steak lunch and a gift to congratulate them for their accomplishment over the past fiscal year. These employees not only came to work each and every day, they also performed their job safely. To achieve perfect attendance, employees must only have been absent from work when they were on a paid absence. Perfect safety means that the employee not only works safely, but also had no medical aids. By achieving perfect safety and attendance, these individuals represent two major components of what Cargill values in its employees.

General Manager, Allen Boelter began with “What an accomplishment!” He went on to state that this group of employees was foundational to Cargill’s safety culture and a great role model for the rest of the plant to follow. Allen said, “I am very proud of what they have accomplished and they should be as well. I want to personally say thanks to each of you for your safe work practices and your loyalty to your coworkers and Cargill by coming to work each and every day. You are the people that make Cargill successful!”
