Permeable Pavers - Common Dos and Don’ts Paver Spacing Pavers must be manufactured permeable pavers with spacing around entire paver filled with #8 stone. DO NOT USE STANDARD PAVERS!

Stepped Installation
Single family residential driveways, Berms for stepped/tiered installations can be constructed of patios and walkways can use plastic concrete, stone or soil. Check approved plans and consult edge restraints. All other permeable with inspector if you have questions. Berms paver systems must use standard Acceptable VDOT curbs, VDOT curb/gutter or precast or cast in place reinforced concrete min. 6” (w) x 18” (d).
