Civic, public and University activities and competences
Since 2009 I have been the General Secretary and a founding member of World Wide – Social Promotion, a non-profit association based in Verona. The association aims to foster the sense of citizenship among young people in developed countries and promote a sense of ownership of the European Union. I organized workshops and lectures about European Union (European café), as part of European federalists. I participated in several debates on local democracy development and citizens participation in European, pre-accession and neighboring countries. In 2011 I won a scholarship in order to participate to the international seminar “The federalism in Europe and the world”, promoted by the “Altiero Spienlli institute” in collaboration with the “European federalist movement”. I wrote on-line articles on www.eurobull.it, www.europeanyearofvolunteering.eu, www.cplverona.it, and articles on Work-up, a bimonthly magazine on “Youth and Work”.
